NZGA Submission: Electricity Authority's 100% Renewable Electricity Supply Consultation

The Market Development Advisory Group (MDAG) is currently developing advice for the Electricty Authority (EA) regarding moving Aotearoa New Zealand towards a 100% renewable electricity supply.

For this report, MDAG is seeking insight specifically on the market activity and predictions associated with achieving this renewable energy target.

With geothermal generation already contributing almost 20% of New Zealand's electricity supply, the NZGA expects that geothermal will play a key part in the EA's goal.
